Privacy Promise: SUUN does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device, under your complete control.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
SUUN is designed with privacy-first principles. We do not collect:
- Personal information (no email, username, or account creation required)
- App blocking preferences or schedules
- Habit tracking data or progress
- Sleep data or patterns
- Device identifiers or analytics
- Usage statistics or behavioral data
- Location information
- Contact lists or other device data
2. How Your Data Stays Private
All app functionality works entirely on your device:
- App Blocking: Your blocked app lists and schedules are stored locally on your device only
- Habit Tracking: Your habits, streaks, and progress never leave your phone
- Sleep Data: Any sleep information is processed and stored locally
- Settings & Preferences: All your customizations remain on your device
- No Cloud Sync: We don't sync your data to any servers or cloud services
3. No Servers, No Tracking
Zero Data Collection: Since we don't collect any data, there are no servers storing your information, no databases with your habits, and no tracking of your behavior.
What this means for you:
- No risk of data breaches affecting your personal information
- No third-party access to your habits or sleep patterns
- Complete control over your data - it's only on your device
- No analytics or tracking that could identify you
- Your privacy is protected by design, not just by policy
4. Third-Party Integrations
If you choose to connect SUUN with other services:
- Apple Health/Google Fit: Any health data integration happens directly between your device and these services - we never see or store this data
- Device Permissions: We only request permissions necessary for core functionality (like app usage access for blocking features)
- No Analytics Services: We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or similar tracking services
5. App Store Information
The only data collection that occurs is through the respective app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store):
- App download and update information
- Crash reports (if you choose to share them)
- App store reviews and ratings
This information is controlled by Apple/Google's privacy policies, not ours.
6. Your Control
Since all your data stays on your device:
- Complete Ownership: Your data belongs entirely to you
- Easy Deletion: Simply delete the app to remove all associated data
- No Account Recovery: Since there's no account, there's nothing for us to recover or reset
- Device Migration: Moving to a new device means starting fresh (your data doesn't transfer because we don't store it)
7. Children's Privacy
Since SUUN doesn't collect any personal information from anyone, it is safe for users of all ages. There is no personal data collected from children or adults.
8. Changes to This Policy
If our privacy practices ever change (for example, if we decide to add optional cloud features), we will:
- Update this policy and post it prominently in the app
- Require explicit opt-in consent for any data collection
- Maintain our commitment to local-first, privacy-focused design
